When I was first contacted by Sarah from Stylish Sassy & Classy, I was so excited to work with her. Sarah runs a fashion blog where she shares her creative outfits that are fun, colorful, and sophisticated. I knew working with her would be an exciting opportunity to combine all of her style choices into a cohesive brand.
Sarah is one of those clients who is well-researched. She came to me with specific examples of websites that she loved and why. Together, we were able to come up with a brand that truly represents her style and blog.
The first step I take in creating a blog brand is searching through the client’s inspiration board or Pinterest to get a sense of their personal style. Whether the client is a fashion blogger or not, we all have our own unique styles that are sometimes unknown to us, but show up in reoccurring themes in images we like or patterns we are drawn to.
The images I chose to pull inspiration from for Sarah’s brand visibly showed her sophisticated yet edgy style. From there, it was easy to come up with the rest of the elements to create her website and pull it all together.
In this case, Sarah was not only switching to a new blog design, but also to a new blogging platform. I love working with bloggers who are making the switch from Blogger to WordPress, because it’s such an exciting transition and huge step for a blog. It’s always fun for me to see before and after type photos, so I am going to start sharing those along with my brand launches. Especially for Stylish Sassy & Classy, this was a very big transformation!
