What is the Crafted Website process like? Let’s take a look at the process from start to finish plus testimonials from clients about their experience working with us.

Every one of our custom Crafted sites is hand-crafted, just like your favorite coffee shop concoction.
You could attempt to make it from home, but it’s such a treat to order one out. Every coffee shop has a recipe for its baristas to follow, yet each individual drink can be fully customized, just as you like it, from temperature to toppings, to create the most delicious drink you’ve ever had.
That’s Crafted in a nutshell.
You get a tailor-made website built to match your brand and meet your specifications, but you don’t have to do the work yourself and your site won’t look like everyone else’s.
So if you’re looking to get away from the pumpkin spice lattes of themes but aren’t ready for a $$k custom-built espresso machine, Crafted might be for you. Let’s answer all your questions, and you can even hear about the Crafted experience from some of our happy customers.
“I am so happy with my website redesign with Grace and Vine. They created a professional and functional site that turned out better than I could have imagined. Everyone was very communicative about the whole process and made sure I was happy with each change. If you care about your business and your website, then it is definitely money well spent!”

What Are Crafted Websites?
When it comes to website design, we know bloggers don’t have a lot of options. They can either make a frugal choice with a cookie-cutter theme or go with a costly, completely custom site. There’s not a lot out there that falls in between these extremes.
Last year we launched a brand new offering called Crafted. We named it that because each site is semi-custom, and handcrafted by the Grace & Vine Studios team.
We saw a way we could serve the food blogger community and designed our Crafted offering to be a mix of these two options — beautiful, semi-custom websites that are easier on the wallet.
Each semi-custom site is built for your blog uniquely, using modern tools like Kadence and blocks to boost your site to the next level.

“My website felt outdated and like a carbon copy of so many others. I am so pleased with how my new Crafted website turned out! It feels fresh and current, it’s aesthetically pleasing and inviting to navigate, and it goes beyond fulfilling the “vision” I had going in. Working with Madison was easy and enjoyable. Her entire team handled my project beautifully and Madison was very responsive to making my requested adjustments until everything was just the way I wanted. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Grace + Vine again in the future!“

Who Crafted Is For
Crafted is ideal for experienced bloggers who are looking to break away from pre-made themes to create something unique, without sacrificing SEO or site speed. We designed it to be the middle-of-the-road option so that you can get a highly customized and branded website but without the time investment and large price tag.
If you are looking to move away from a big box theme that is no longer supported or a costly membership that still leaves your site looking the same as the others on the web, Crafted might be for you.
Many crafted customers come to us with an established brand and logo, and we customize a site to suit their brand. However, we have a special branding package add on for those looking to refresh their branding and get started with something new.
“I was frustrated with having a web site that looked generic and didn’t stand out, but I also knew that full custom sites could cost a fortune. When I heard about Crafted, I immediately started the process. added on a refresh of my logo/brand identity and an email marketing package, as I had been putting that off for months but knew how important it is to have on my site. The process from start to finish was so easy and well-communicated.”

The Crafted Process
Web design is a LOT of work. If you’re doing it yourself, you are working with a pre-made theme off the shelf, tweaking settings and Googling HTML and CSS, all so it doesn’t look like the other sites out there that are using the same thing.
And if you’re doing a custom website, you’ll have to be available for lots of rounds of revisions for each stage of the process, plus time spent on calls, making decisions, organizing your categories, digging up imagery from your archives to use across the site… Either way, it’s a lot of work.
We designed Crafted sites to take the heavy-lifting off of you. Not only do we build you a fast, SEO-friendly and fully-functional site, we also take on some of the decision-making — with your preferences AND industry best practices in mind.
At the beginning of each project, we work with the site owner to go over preferences and site organization.
From there, we’re with you every step of the way. A Crafted site takes about 4-5 weeks from start to launch. We send weekly updates and request your feedback.
“I honestly loved every part of this experience. I felt so stress-free with Madison working on my site because she provided updates as needed on the process, always asked my opinion and was always receptive to my thoughts and feedback. That truly means so much to me, and I feel it absolutely reflects on the results I got back. My website truly feels like me and I’m so excited to share it with my community.”
