Tori Avey shares authentic recipes and food history from the Mediterranean and around the world. Tori was introduced to global cuisine by her grandparents, who spent their retirement years traveling the Mediterranean in a VW camper bus with a kerosene-fueled kitchenette. The flavors they brought back from their adventures expanded Tori’s palate, while their passion for history inspired her to learn the deeper story behind each recipe. Through her own travels, Tori has made friends with culinary experts in kitchens all around the world. Her passion for food, cultural exploration, and healthy living led to the creation of her website where you will find hundreds of authentic and well-tested recipes for the adventurous home cook, as well as cooking tutorials and tips for enjoying a healthy, balanced life.
We are launching a new series of posts to start showing off our amazing clients and the projects we have been able to work on with them. You can check out all of the client launches here.
Custom brand design for food blog: Tori Avey

Some of Tori’s goals included having a design that was more modern, clean, sleek, user-friendly and SEO-friendly. For the design in Tori’s branding we included a circle stamp element that points back to post cards/traveling, a spoon + fork to signify recipes, and the flourish in the stamp is symbolic of Mediterranean tile design.
Tori hopes to reach those who are more intellectually curious about the history and roots of the recipes they are making for their families. On her site, the reader learns a lot about the dish itself and its history. One of Tori’s favorite recipes is hummus and this is one of the first recipes she blogged about.
