When Candace first reached out to us, she had already built something really meaningful. The Wheatless Kitchen had started as a resource for people living with celiac disease — a place where gluten-free cooking felt less overwhelming and more possible. Over time, her blog had grown with her. She had become a mom. Her voice had evolved. Her community had deepened.

But her brand? It had not quite kept up.

“I have always pieced together things like my theme and logo, and I’ve always created the graphics and theme implementation myself,” Candace shared. “I want it to feel more professional and keep people on the website for longer.”

That word — pieced together — says so much. It is one of the most common things we hear from food bloggers who have been doing the work for a while. You pour everything into your content, your photography, your recipes, your readers. And somewhere along the way, the brand becomes a collection of decisions made at different seasons of your life rather than a cohesive, intentional identity.

Candace knew it was time to change that.

The Heart Behind The Wheatless Kitchen

One of the things that made this project so meaningful was the clear sense of purpose Candace brought to it.

The Wheatless Kitchen was not just a food blog. It was — and still is — a resource. A place where people with celiac disease can find recipes that make their lives easier, their kitchens safer, and their meals genuinely delicious. That mission was present from the beginning, and it needed a brand that reflected it.

As Candace put it, “I started the website to be able to be a resource for people with celiac disease, to make their lives easier and be a resource for them.”

That kind of clarity is such a gift to work with. When you know why you are doing what you do, and you know who you are doing it for, branding becomes less about making something look pretty and more about making sure the right people feel the right things when they land on your site.

That is exactly the work we got to do together.

What the Branding Intensive Looks Like

If you have been curious about the our Branding Intensive, Candace’s project is a really great example of what it is designed to do.

The Branding Intensive is not just a logo package. It is a strategic brand-building process that starts with understanding your audience, your message, and the gap between where your brand is now and where it needs to be. Here is what every Branding Intensive includes:

  • Audience Deep Dive — We start by getting clear on who you are talking to, what they need, and how your brand can speak directly to them
  • Branding Strategy — We define the core elements of your brand: your voice, your positioning, your visual direction, and how it all connects to your goals
  • Logo Design — You walk away with a complete logo suite built to work across your website, social media, and any marketing materials you need
  • Launch Support and Launch Graphics — We make sure you have everything you need to introduce your new brand to your audience with confidence

For Candace, this meant taking all the heart and purpose that had been living inside The Wheatless Kitchen and building a visual identity that could finally match it. Cohesive. Intentional. Professional. And genuinely hers.

What Changed

Before the Branding Intensive, Candace’s brand was functional — but it was not fully her. The pieces had been assembled over time, by hand, without a unifying strategy. The result was a brand that worked in pieces but did not hold together as a whole.

After the Branding Intensive, The Wheatless Kitchen has a brand that feels like a real destination. One that communicates trust and clarity from the very first impression. One that reflects not just where Candace started, but where she is now — as a mom, as a creator, and as a go-to resource for the gluten-free community.

When your brand is cohesive, something shifts. Your audience feels it. They stay longer. They trust you faster. They come back.

That is what a brand is supposed to do.

Is a Branding Intensive Right for You?

The Branding Intensive was designed for food bloggers who are newer to intermediate in their journey — people who have built something real, have a monetized business or are working toward it, and are ready to show up with a brand that matches the quality of their content.

It is a great fit if:

  • You have pieced your brand together over time and it is starting to feel mismatched
  • You are happy with your current website or theme but want a brand refresh without a full redesign
  • You want logo designs, brand strategy, and audience clarity all in one place
  • You are ready to feel genuinely proud of how your blog looks and feels to visitors

If that sounds like where you are right now, we would love to talk.

hey friend, i’m madison

Food blogger turned web designer

I’ve been where you are. Growing fast, feeling overwhelmed by the tech side of things, and realizing that somewhere between hitting 100k sessions and launching that new revenue stream, the foundations of your business got left behind.

I started out as a food blogger, so I get it. The constant juggling. The feeling that your site doesn’t match who you’ve become. The frustration of working way too hard while your brand and tech hold you back.

That’s why I created Grace + Vine Studios—to help monetized food bloggers like you finally catch up. Whether it’s your branding, your website, or just figuring out what the heck comes next, I’m here to help you build a business that reflects where you are now and actually improves your life instead of consuming it.
