Angela had been pouring her heart into Happy Honey Kitchen for over four years before she realized something important — she had built a blog, but she had never built a brand.
After niching down to Tex-Mex cuisine, she knew the timing was finally right to change that. She wanted a brand that felt bold, fun, and full of personality — one that could showcase her new Tex-Mex focus while still honoring the quick and easy recipes her readers had always loved. And those placeholder logos she had been meaning to replace for years? It was finally time to let them go.

This is a series of posts to show off our amazing clients and the projects we have been able to work on with them! You can check out all of the client launches here.
Custom brand design for food blog: Happy Honey Kitchen

Project details: Brand Strategy & Logo Design | Digital Product Strategy & Design
The biggest challenge was finding a way to bring it all together cohesively — the new niche, the existing content, and a visual identity that finally felt like it had a personality. Angela didn’t want her readers to feel confused by the mix of old and new content, and she didn’t want to feel embarrassed sending people to her site anymore. She was ready to feel genuinely proud of what she had built and excited to share it with the world.
Through our Branding Intensive, we took a deep dive into Angela’s audience, her messaging, and the bold, vibrant world of Tex-Mex cooking. We worked to create a brand identity that felt as fun and engaging as the recipes she creates — with a clear niche, a cohesive visual identity, and a tagline that said exactly what Happy Honey Kitchen was all about. Bold Tex-Mex and Texas recipes made easy — simple, clear, and impossible to forget.

Angela walked away with a brand she is proud to share, a crystal clear message for her audience, and a visual identity that finally matches the heart, the flavor, and the energy of everything she has been building!

hey friend, i’m madison
Food blogger turned web designer
I’ve been where you are. Growing fast, feeling overwhelmed by the tech side of things, and realizing that somewhere between hitting 100k sessions and launching that new revenue stream, the foundations of your business got left behind.
I started out as a food blogger, so I get it. The constant juggling. The feeling that your site doesn’t match who you’ve become. The frustration of working way too hard while your brand and tech hold you back.
That’s why I created Grace + Vine Studios—to help monetized food bloggers like you finally catch up. Whether it’s your branding, your website, or just figuring out what the heck comes next, I’m here to help you build a business that reflects where you are now and actually improves your life instead of consuming it.
