When Phil first came to us, it was pretty clear he had something special on his hands. The Saucery isn’t your average hot sauce brand. It’s bold, food-forward, and genuinely different. But even with a great product and a clear vision, Phil was running into a challenge a lot of business owners face: his brand wasn’t fully capturing what made him stand out.

He was speaking to two very different audiences, retailers and suppliers on one side, everyday food lovers on the other, and he needed a brand identity that could connect with both while still feeling cohesive and completely his own. On top of that, he wanted to make sure The Saucery felt nothing like the mass-marketed sauces crowding the shelf. That’s a tall order, and honestly, it’s one of our favorite kind of problems to solve.

This is a series of posts to show off our amazing clients and the projects we have been able to work on with them. You can check out all of the client launches here.

Custom brand design for food blog: The Saucery

Project details: Brand Strategy & Logo Design | Digital Product Strategy & Design

That’s where our Branding Intensive came in. We started with an audience deep dive to get really clear on who Phil is talking to and what they need to hear. From there, we moved into brand strategy and worked through the heart of The Saucery: what it stands for, what makes it different, and how to communicate that in a way that feels natural and compelling.

The logo and brand identity we built together came out bold, warm, and unmistakably Phil. Something he could walk into any room with confidently, whether he’s pitching to a retailer or welcoming a first-time customer.

Because when your brand finally reflects what you’ve built, everything else gets a little easier.

hey friend, i’m madison

Food blogger turned web designer

I’ve been where you are. Growing fast, feeling overwhelmed by the tech side of things, and realizing that somewhere between hitting 100k sessions and launching that new revenue stream, the foundations of your business got left behind.

I started out as a food blogger, so I get it. The constant juggling. The feeling that your site doesn’t match who you’ve become. The frustration of working way too hard while your brand and tech hold you back.

That’s why I created Grace + Vine Studios—to help monetized food bloggers like you finally catch up. Whether it’s your branding, your website, or just figuring out what the heck comes next, I’m here to help you build a business that reflects where you are now and actually improves your life instead of consuming it.
